Dancers win national title again

LOCHGELLY based Hiphop crew 'ZEE D C' run by Stacey Keenan went along to defend their Scottish crew dance champions title in Stirling.

They managed to keep their title and also gained another 12 first place trophies in various categories.

And the junior crew, who attended the competition for the first time, gained second place in crew category and took a few first place positions in the solos and duets.

Stacey said, "I am very proud of both teams. They are commited and work very hard and this shows in our results."

Both teams are pictured with their trophies and medals.

Zee D C results were, Niamh Early Solo Under 8's 1st; Devyn McCue Solo Under 10's 1st; Abbie Jack Solo Under 14's 1st; Lauren Mitchell Solo Under 16's 1st; Darren Hamilton Solo Under 18's 1st; Stephanie Hamilton Solo Over 18's 1st; Niamh Early and Carli McKay Duet Under 8's 1st; Sophie Lister and Murron Philip Duet Under 10's 1st; Leigh Wands and Kirsten Gordon Duet Under 14's 1st; Lauren Mitchell and Abbie Jack Duet Under 16's Intermediate 1st; Jamie McAndrew and Lyn Haxton Duet Under 18's 1st; Hazel Guthrie and Ashleigh Yule Duet Under 18's Intermediate 1st; Zee D C Seniors Crew Over 14's Intermediate 1st and 13 1st places. Sophie Lister Solo Under 10's 2nd; Lauren Brady Solo Under 14's 2nd; Ashleigh Yule Solo Under 16's 2nd; Baillie Keenan and Lauren Morgan Duet Under 10's 2nd; Rebekka Dick and Megan Maxwell Duet Under 12's 2nd;

Zee D C Juniors Crew Under 10's Newcomers 2nd and six 2nd places; Abbie Neilson Solo Under 6's 3rd; Remmi Robertson Solo Under 12's 3rd; Kirsten Gordon Solo Under 14's 3rd; Remmi Robertson and Devyn McCue Duet Under 10's 3rd; Kalia Dair and Bailey McLelland Duet Under 12's 3rd; Kayleigh Young and Darren Hamilton Duet Under 16's 3rd; Baillie Keenan Solo Under 10's 4th; Harley McCue Solo Under 16's 4th; Lauren Brady and Harley McCue Duet Under 16's 4th; Devyn McLelland and Cassie Paterson Duet Under 16's 5th.
