THERE was a special visitor to Monday's Christmas party organised by Fife Day Care Services for senior citizens from Cowdenbeath, Hill of Beath, Crossgates and Lochgelly.

MP for the Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath Constituency and Prime Minister Gordon Brown called in to meet the veterans.

He spent time talking with the groups from the various communities and wished the whole company a very merry Christmas.
