Police seized cannabis with a street value of £10,000 during a raid at a property in Kelty on Tuesday.

Officers searched a home in Sneddon Court at 11.30am on 18th August, following a tip-off.

Cannabis and cannabis plants were recovered and a 31-year-old resident arrested.

The man is expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on 15th September.

Area Chief Inspector Ross Bennet said, "Over the summer months, the quantity and quality of information being passed to my officers by the public has allowed a number of successful drugs operations to be undertaken.

"I would encourage the public to continue to share information with us as we will take positive action where the information allows."

Anyone with information on drug crime in their area can contact Fife Police on 0845 600 5702 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
