Three teenagers have been charged in connection with a fire at the derelict Meedies Neuk pub in Crosshill.

Police confirmed this week that the youngsters had been charged and investigations were continuing.

Meanwhile, Fife Council have stated that the site is secure.

Neil Mitchell, team leader Building Standards and Safety, said, 'The building has been re-inspected, is structurally stable with security fencing in place, other accessible openings secured. Safety warning signs have also been provided.

"If persons are wilfully climbing over such safety fencing past razor wire and onto roofs to access the building this would be a matter for the police.'
