Hundreds turn out for murder victim's funeral

THE funeral of Lochgelly murder victim Sean Stark took place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Tuesday afternoon.

Father of two Sean died after an incident near his home in Main Street on Sunday 31st May involving a knife.

The 25 year-old"s death saw a huge shrine created near where the incident occurred in Main Street and the strength of community feeling about the loss saw a huge turn out at Tuesday"s funeral when hundreds of people went to say a fond goodbye to Sean.

A 21 year-old Ballingry man has appeared in private twice in connection with the incident.

    This day was a very sad day for lochgelly community a young man murderd i hope the 21year old man who done this horiffic thing gets life its about time they brought back hanging or electric chair a prison sentence is all tax payers paying to keep them with home comforts.The Goverment should be looking to giving the criminals bread and water because they are treated better than the old fock that are in hospital and homes wheres the JUSTES????

    nice to hear that there was a good turn out at mr starks funeral.

    minus friends & family the turn out of locals from lochgelly & surrounding areas was a nice side of fife that i had not seen in the 11 yrs that i have been living in fife .
