Acting for private clients, specialist property adviser Christie + Co has sold Mossview Care Home, in Lochgelly.
The Home has been acquired by Target Healthcare REIT for an undisclosed sum off a £2.5million guide price and subsequently leased to Care Concern Group.
Care Concern Group comprises a group of companies who have developed and operated care homes for the last 20 years. It has grown its portfolio of sites organically over the years with a mix of going concerns and developments and currently operates 24 care homes in Scotland and England.
Situated in the heart of Lochgelly, in Francis Street, Mossview Care Home is registered to provide care to a maximum of 42 people and features 42 single rooms, all with en-suite facilities. Martin Daw, of Christie + Co’s Edinburgh office handled the sale. He commented, “The care sector is incredibly hot right now. Quality care homes are attracting interest from a wide pool of funded buyers with ambitions to deliver increasingly modern and better quality care homes.”
