FAMILIES in Lochgelly are being invited to attend a special film screening at Lochgelly Centre as part of The Connected Baby series.

The Connected Baby Film Night series screens little-known films that provide insights into the importance of the bonds between parents and carers and children.

The Fife Early Years team will be bringing James Robertson’s 1952 classic ‘A Two Year Old Goes to Hospital’ to Lochgelly Centre on Wednesday 29th April – one of a series being shown across Fife.

Lynn Gillies, Early Years change officer, said, “This film aims to show how essential relationships are for children, and how much children rely on affectionate care during their early years. That makes the film’s message as relevant today as in 1952. The doors are open to all for this event, and we would encourage parents and carers to come along and join us in watching on April 29th.” Anyone who wants to go along to the event can find more information and apply for free tickets at http://tinyurl.com/k5nmclf
