THE Spirit of Lochgelly community group is set to raise more money this year for events in the town.
One of the causes backed by SOL in December, saw Tracey Leverington handing over a cheque to Carol from the Jenny Gray Care Home which went towards their Christmas party.
They have plenty of ideas to develop this year and their first fundraiser takes place upstairs in Lodge Minto 385 on Saturday 14th March. It starts at 7.30pm and it is £2.50 per ticket Said SOL’s Karen Yeoman, “We are bidding to raise funds to try and make our events bigger and better for local children whilst bringing the community together in a fun way.”
