EVERYTHING is in place for the 2014 Central Fife Community Safety Panel elderly forum.

The panel members heard on Thursday that between 75 and 90 senior citizens were expected at Lochgelly Town Hall on Friday 28th November.

Chairman of the panel, Lenny Linton, said, “We have the tickets out in the community just now and we are hoping for around 90 on the day.

“The event will be opened by Chief Inspector Gordon Mitchell, chief of the Scottish Police Service in the Dunfermline and Cowdenbeath area, and there will be a buffet lunch and entertainment along with advice on crime prevention and community safety.” The Times still has ten tickets to give away to senior citizens wanting to go to the event which starts at noon. These can be collected at the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, by Monday 24th November.
