THE elderly forum held by the Central Fife Community Safety Panel is now going to be held on Friday 28th November.
Thursday’s panel meeting heard that there had been hopes to hold the event, which gives senior citizens community safety advice and an afternoon of entertainment, in September, but there had been some problems with getting the various elements in place.
However, now things have been sorted out for the last Friday in November and over the next couple of months tickets will be prepared and distributed to senior citizens throughout the area.
During the afternoon the panel will also present the first George Bird Community Champion award, in memory of the man who was a founding member of the panel and a fine horticulturist.
