The Lochgelly Development Forum, who organise the gala day, are still looking for volunteers to help out on the day of the gala to assist with organiseing the ‘furniture’ at the two park venues.

Said the Forum’s Eileen McKenna, “We still need a few people to help out on the day at the park to get tables and chairs organised at various spots.

“It takes a considerabl;e amount of money to stage the gala but we are delighted with the support people have offered through the Bank Street chairty shop and other fund raising ventures.

“We are hoping for a good day weatherwise and a great day of gala activities.” The four day forecast issued on Tuesday suggests a fine day for gala day 2014.
