AFTER missing a year due to changes caused by the changeover from Fife Constabulary to Police Scotland, Central Fife Community Safety Panel will be holding their very popular elderly forum initiative later in the year.
The forum sees senior citizens entertained by schoolchildren and given important safety advice by expert advisers.
Said Panel chairman, Lenny Linton, “The forum is normally held in the late autumn but last year, as our police support mechanism was being changed through the creation of Police Scotland, we had to put it on hold.
“However, we plan to hold it on Friday 26th September this year and as usual we will be looking for pensioners from every part of the district to get involved.”
