AN accident on the Liza Brae today saw motorists taken to hospital and traffic severely disrupted for a spell.
The accident occurred just past Lochgelly Cemetery on the (B981) between Lochgelly and Cardenden between a car and a small van.
One person was taken to hospital as three ambulances, one Paramedic response car, and three police traffic cars, two local police, two Fire engines and two fire officers were in attendance.
Traffic was held up for a considerable time while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
