A LOCHGELLY man who stole thousands of pounds from his elderly grandmother has appeared in court.
In the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court was Martin Greenhill, 36, of Paul Street.
He previously admitted that between May 1 and October 31 last year, he stole £3,000 from the bank accounts of his grandmother, aged 88.
A social work report had been submitted on Greenhill but Sheriff Pino di Emidio decided it was not complete.
“There is an issue over whether he can do unpaid work,” he commented. Sentence was further deferred until May 2 for a medical report.
