DO you want to find out what happens in your local church apart from Sunday Services?

Open days have been planned in St. Serf’s Parish Church to give the communities of Benarty and Lochgelly an opportunity to discover what facilities are available within the buildings for community use.

St. Serf’s Benarty, in Hill Road, Ballingry, will be open on Saturday March 10 and St. Serf’s Lochgelly, in the town’s Main Street, will be open on Saturday March 24, both from 11am to 2pm.

St Serf's Session Clerk, Ian Brown said: "We hope that people will be interested in the sort of facilities we can offer to the community.

"As well as a variety of church groups a number of community groups who already use the facilities will be on hand with displays and information points promoting their own groups and clubs and there will be Highland Dancing and Tai-Chi displays on each day at specified times. Tea and coffee will be available".

Ian hopes that people will go along and see the facilities that can be used by all members of the communities of Benarty and Lochgelly for no matter what it may be.
