THIS week's Down Memory Lane collection comes from another of our exiles, Hannah Cooper, who lives in London.

Hannah's parents were Ballingry people and she was only 10 when she left with them to head south but her mum and dad took a whole pile of photos with them and she has found them.

One of the pictures shows the van used by the popular grocer Paton and Turpie.

Here their team of of Becky Skinner and Harry Davis are seen thought to be taken in the 1920s.

The next picture shows a group of workers who have been grafting in the countryside.

Another picture shows a young lad from Ballingry watching work going on at the Parish Church building in the village, while the last shot is thought by Hannah to be from 1934 and shows the band playing at Glencraig Gala.

If you have any old pictures you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take it to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
