THERE was a very important event at Lodge Minto 385, in Lochgelly, when RWM Steven Page was installed.

And during the evening PM Harry Wyse received his Diamond Diploma for having served the Lodge for 60 years.

The event at the Masonic Hall, in North Street, saw brethren from all parts of the province, and some from other provinces, attend to witness the annual installation of the office-bearers of Lodge Minto 385.

The installing team, headed by PM Bro Raymond Wilson assisted by PMs S Blair and A Mackenzie, did a very proficient job installing Bro Steven J Page as Right Worshipful Master and his office-bearers to their respective offices.

The proceedings were further enhanced when RWPG Master Bro Stuart Quigley, along with the IPM, Bro R Fairgrieve, presented PM Bro Henry (Harry) Wyse JP, with his Diamond Diploma having served his lodge with great dignity and respect for 60 years.

In his reply PM Wyse thanked everyone for their kind wishes, and although he had seen many changes, he was sure the Lodge was in good hands and he wished everyone best wishes for the future.

RWM Steven Page hails from Ballingry and runs his own joinery/laminate flooring business and is well known in the local bag piping community.

Steven has been well supported by his partner Vivien during his Masonic career.

During his address to the brethren, Steven said: "I am looking to serve the Lodge well and I hope, with the brethren's support, we can encourage some of the absent brethren to rekindle their interest in the Lodge in general and reach out to the wider public to promote the excellent facilities we have here at North Street, which are constantly being upgraded, which we can offer for private functions, eg weddings, dances etc with seating for up to 120 people upstairs, in our main hall, and approximately 80 in our lounge area."
