THIS week's Down Memory Lane pictures come from Helen George, who is an exile living down south in Northampton.

She is a former Lochgelly lady and had these pictures in her collection.

These show one taken in 1915 in Knockhill Close and show a young lad on his horse and trap, while another is from the town's gala day in 1986, and the revellers on one of the floats.

The one of the car in Bank Street was taken in 1921 and is of a Morris Cowley when cars were a rare sight in the centre of the town.

The last picture is of the barbers shop, then in Auchterderran Road, in the post war period.

If you have old photos you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
