THE Central Fife Crime Prevention Panel's Elderly Forum tickets will be getting distributed over the next few weeks.
The event takes place on Friday November 10 at Lochgelly Town Hall and 100 tickets will be distributed.
Wednesday's panel meeting was told that the entertainment had been fixed up for the senior citizens and already several advice groups had agreed to take stalls.
Cowdenbeath Community Police team member Gary Chrystal reported that the veterans would be entertained by pupils from Beath and Lochgelly High Schools and St Kenneth's Primary School.
He added: "We have had good feedback and the likes of Bums Off Seats will be there to offer advice on how strolls in the countryside can be so beneficial.
"There will be several other organisations taking part to offer information on health and well being issues plus the panel will have a host of crime prevention and community safety points which can be of assistance to those attending."
The Times Office, in Bank Street, Lochgelly, has ten tickets up for grabs for the free event which can be obtained on a Monday or a Friday on a first-cum-first served basis.
