WHO deserves to be the winners of Lochgelly’s Citizens of the Year awards in 2017.
Lochgelly Community Council are seeking nominations for the Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year awards.
Secretary Stevie Murray explained: “The awards are to recognise the contribution made by Lochgelly people to the town or positive promotion and impression of the town.
"There are many fine examples where Lochgelly folk have gone beyond expectations.
"They can be awarded to individuals and groups, the only criteria applied is that the Young Citizen of the year award is open to youngsters who are 16 or under.”
Stevie added: “When you consider all of the positivity that has gone on over the last 12 months such as dance groups winning national and world events, the massive success of this year’s gala celebration, floral enhancement awards, youngsters enjoying sporting success, charity fund raising or for simply being a great citizen and neighbour amongst many other achievements of Lochgelly folk.”
