THIS week's Down Memory Lane collection of photographs comes from exile Rose Thomson, from Northamptonshire.

Rose grew up in Lochgelly but went down south in the 1980s and took a lot of family photos with her.

These shots are from the first quarter of the 20th century.

One of them is of the Gelly Loch possibly taken in the 1930s, while the shot of Main Street and Lochgelly Institute is from around the same era.

Then there is a shot of the town's pipe band from 1926 and the last one is Main Street, Lumphinnans, in the days of the trams.

If you have old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
