THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection comes from another of our exiles but not so far afield as previous ones.
These pictures belong to Thomas Smithard, formerly of Lochgelly, but who has stayed in High Valleyfield for a number of years.
These come from Lochgelly and Cardenden. The pictures of Bank Street coming from the thick end of a century ago and 50 years ago and are quite striking.
A lot of the features of this important street throughout the town's history are still there.
The other shows the craftsmen who worked for Clark and Gillies Joiners around 85 years ago while the final picture shows Bowhill Colliery Baths not long after these were opened.
If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
