LOCHGELLY Old Folks Re-union Committee's annual summer drive and high tea went well on Wednesday for over 60 70 year-olds plus people.

The high tea was held at Lochgelly Town Hall with catering by Mary Ross from Cowdenbeath.

The committee is indebted to local shops, firms and businesses who give donations towards the Old Folks Re-union functions which take place in June and December each year.

These include, David Gray Salons, NISA Extra, MM Associates, Coral, Tone and Tan, Mr Macs, Fife Flowers, Serenity, Perfect Pooches, Home N' Hardware, Torleys, Old Ship, LOFT, A and R Fish Bar, Broadway Carpets and Furniture, I Candy Hairdresser, Canmore Dentist, Scotbet, Golden Fry, Carrick Optician, The King's, Pins and Needles, Special Occasions, Paige Wright Barbers, Shardy's, Diamonds Bar, Minto Lounge, MENS, Cat Care Centre, Top Knot, A and M Spence Accountancy, Lochgelly Bowling Club, Lochgelly Golf Club, Mossview At The Opera Residential Home, Chinese Takeaway, Beauty Spot, Family Dentist, Shades, Kooner, Sapphire Restaurant, West End Bar, John Gilfillan Funeral Director, Regal Rubber, Evolution, Timber Co, Personalise ME, Wind Farm, Lochgelly Community Council, Ore Valley Housing Association, Baynes, Farrell, R Purvis, and last but by no means least Lochgelly Co-operative.

There are also Cowdenbeath shops who contribute, namely Stephens, Morrisons, McColl's Paper Shop, Willie's Taxis and Hugh Blacka dn Sons Butchers in Lochgelly and Cowdenbeath.

Last but by no means least, personal friends of Sadie and Margaret of the Committee, who all help to swell the number of raffle prizes.
