BOTH Lochgelly High School's DAS2/3 and DAS2 visited Dynamic Earth, in Edinburgh, as part of their Natural Disasters unit in Social Studies.
Students learned about how the world was created and the impact we, as humans, have on the planet.
The pupils enjoyed the hands on activities, especially the 3D virtual plane experience where they headed south from the Arctic down to the African rainforest. Not content with this realm of Social Studies, as part of RME, DAS2 they visited local church, St Patrick’s where they were given a warm welcome by Father Sean and learned more about different people’s faiths.
