FIFE Morning Star readers and supporters are holding an Our Class Our Culture meeting in Lochgelly Centre on Tuesday April 4 at 6:30pm.
The theme for this year is based on the work of R. Page Arnot, who was heavily involved in the 1926 General Strike and was a historian of the British miners, who wrote the book A History of the Scottish miners.
Tam Kirby, the Benarty activist, said: "As a Communist he was under investigation by MI5 and had his mail intercepted and recorded. There are files still in existence.
"He was a life long Communist from the creation of the CPGB in 1920 until his death.
"This is a public meeting and everyone is welcome to attend and join in the discussion".
