DUNFERMLINE Choral Union (DCU) under the guidance of Lochgelly High School's head music teacher Mandy Miller, invites people to join them for a magnificent performance of Handel’s Messiah on Saturday at 7.30pm in the Vine Venue, in the Auld Grey Toun.

Saturday’s concert features four internationally acclaimed soloists, who are all based in Scotland.

Fife's own Frances McCafferty (mezzo soprano) will be joined by Emily Mitchell (soprano), Robert Forrest (tenor) and Ivor Klayman (bass).

The choir and soloists will be accompanied by a professional orchestra.

Mandy Miller, DCU's Musical Director, commented, “This year’s Spring concert is the culmination of many months of hard work and I am excited to be performing such a wonderful, well-loved oratorio with the choir and our guests soloists.

"I have had the honour of being DCU’s Musical Director for 24 years now and it is always a pleasure to work with such a committed, enthusiastic group of singers."
