THE special community garden feature in Lochgelly Public Park has started to take shape.
Contractors started work at the end of last week, with completion by late March being scheduled.
This is of course weather dependent, but the garden will be completed and usable this summer.
The designs include a new path to ensure that the facility is open to all users. Raised flower beds will bring some colour to the area and the benches will allow spectacular views across the Bishop and Benarty hills to the north; and Largo Law to the east.
On Friday the contractors were busy taking the ash surface off the old tennis courts and it will be a project which will gather momentum as this month moves on.
