LOCHGELLY'S Daniel Robertson has been striding out for the Hearing Dogs for the Deaf charity.
The fifteen year-old took part in a 10k run in Edinburgh for the charity and raised £405.
Daniel, from Erskine Street, is profoundly deaf himself and was desperate to join his dad Scott who was taking part in the 10k.
The youngster has joined the Meedies Running Club, such is his enthusiasm for going out for a run, and his club mates played a lead role in backing his charity effort.
Said Daniel's mum Kerry: "He has really taken to running and is planning to do more events for the Hearing Dogs Fund and deaf children in Scotland."
