THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection comes from Andrew Greenhorn and the Times picture collection.

Lochgelly man Andrew's pictures show a Lochgelly South Primary School class from the 1950s and apprentices at the Jenny Gray Colliery in 1957-58.

He can remember most of the names, back row (left to right)?, Jock Kirk, David Barnes, Ronnie Brown, David Carson, George Walkingshaw, William Tayler, Jas Hamilton James McAlpine and Ian Kaye. Middle row, Ian Paxton, Andrew Greenhorn, Neil McPherson, Harry Stewart, Andrew Finnie, Isobel Davidson, Nan Moffat, Janet Walker, George Paterson, Jackie Stewart and Billy McLelland.

Third row, Janette Hughes, Agnes Russell, Margaret McLean, Lizabeth Lucas, Isobel Bennet, Ray Scott, Nancy Archibald, Jeanette Walker, Sheen Steven and Rae Bolt.

Bottom row, John McLean, Bobby Robertson, Len Kerr, ?, Harry Collins, Andrew Leslie, John Richie and Charles Cairns.

The apprentices at the Jenny Gray are, Andrew Greenhorn, David Stanley.

The Times pic box pictures show a shot down Cowdenbeath High Street in the 1980s and the property on the corner of Main Street, Lochgelly, and Church Street which is now the chip shop.
