YOUNGSTERS in Lochgelly spent some of their day on Friday brightening up the area around the Bank Street War Memorial.
Lochgelly Family Nurture Centre, based at the Sunflower Nursery, had their kids planting in Lochgelly at the war memorial.
The children have worked hard growing their flowers from seed and now have planted them in the community.
This was the last addition to the planters displayed around Lochgelly, before Lochgelly is judged for the Beautiful Fife award on Thursday.
The Growing in Lochgelly Environment Group has been very active over the past few months ensuring that the town will have a good look to it when the judges visit.
