CREATING positive destinations for the young people of Beath High School is integral to the curriculum and values of the school.
This focus on achieving positive destinations has been further enhanced by the appointment of a new Graduate Aide, who has been given the task of ensuring a higher level of employability for those pupils whose time is coming to a close at the school.
Euan Low, the appointed Graduate Aide at Beath, along with raising employability through work placement schemes, will provide extra support to the on-going programmes that have seen emphatic success across Fife and that are now being noticed across Scotland.
Through close working with all members of staff, local businesses and pupils the graduate aide programme is set to have a very positive impact on the school, ensuring that all pupils leave Beath High School the knowledge and experience to succeed.
Ray Fernie is the project Co-ordinator and very experienced in the field of employability and Karen Morton is the Graduate Aide Mentor.
Karen said: "We are very excited about the prospect of this project now being Fife wide. The children of Fife deserve to have their aspirations met."
