COWDENBEATH Rotary Club is fundraising for local families in need at Christmas and is holding a Christmas Fayre on Sunday 23rd November.
Said the club’s junior vice president, Marie Shevas, “One child in four wake up Christmas morning in our area with no presents or food in the cupboard so we are asking for the local community to support our event which will be held at Kelty Ex-Servicemen’s Club. There is lots on offer for kids with Meet Santa on his sleigh and get a pressie; Picture taken with Santa; a kids’ Wheel of Fortune and Reindeer Food! For adults there are over 20 stands including a host of ideas for Christmas presents.
Added Marie, “We hope that this will be a famliy day out with the youngsters having fun and the mums and dads getting present ideas.”
