THE family of murdered toddler Madison Horn said "justice has been served" after Kevin Park was sentenced to 22 years in jail.
He was convicted of killing the two-year-old at her Kelty home on 20th April and was given a life sentence at the High Court in Glasgow today.
At least two jurors appeared emotional and were dabbing their eyes with handkerchiefs following the verdict.
In a statement after the trial, the family of the tragic toddler said, “This has been a very hard and difficult time for the family and friends of Madison.
“We are pleased that justice has been served, but it will never be enough as Anne Marie is the one stuck with the life sentence of never seeing beautiful Madison again.” The family also thanked those who had been “so supportive and generous throughout this hard process”.
