A GROUP of Kelty fundraisers held a football match as part of their bid to raise money for a local lady.

Jemma Gray (27) from the village, suffers from cerebral palsy and is in need of her home kitted out with equipment - the group want to help her by donating raised money from a number of different events.

Mikyla Nobel (21), a member of the fundraising group said, “Each year we try to help someone in the local community. Jemma needs equipment in her home and we thought that she would be perfect to fundraise for.

“Sixteen of us bungee jumped the Highland Fling Bungee in Killiecrankie recently and in the new few weeks brave men in the fundraising group will be having their legs waxed!

“Jemma is currently staying in a care home and her mum thought that this opportunity to raise money for her was a great idea.

“We have aimed to be able to support her in her journey and hopefully help her get back into a home environment which supports her needs.” Mikyla and her fundraising team would like to thank Conservatory Converters for supporting Saturday’s football match and RFFF for donating signed football memorabilia.
