SIX Four Seasons Health Care homes are taking part in the company’s Health & Safety Week initiative starting today (Monday).

The new initiative has been implemented to increase everyone’s understanding of current health and safety best practice to enhance the well-being and comfort of people living in Four Seasons’ care homes and Kelty’s Benarty View will be involved.

Throughout the week, the homes will focus on a specific health and safety topic including: Choking; Bed rails and entrapment;Moving and handling; Legionella and protection from hot surfaces; and Fire safety Presentations on these above themes will be delivered by managers and health care specialists to staff and a Health & Safety Week pack will be provided as an additional resource for after the event.
