A KELTY couple were jailed at Perth Sheriff Court for stealing upwards of £50,000.
A daughter staged the theft of the vast sum of money from her father to pay for cosmetic surgery and her partner played his part in the happenings.
Lisa Reid and her partner Mark Green, from Croftangry Road, staged the heist on Derek Reid's life savings while he was on holiday.
The couple were found guilty by a jury at Perth Sheriff Court of the theft and on Thursday Green was jailed for 30 months and Reid for two years by Sheriff Gillian Wade.
During the trial, after Reid,29, and Green, 35, had denied breaking-into Mr Reid's home and stealing a safe and forcing it open to steal £48,7000 and other contents, the jury heard that the the duo had waited until Mr Reid had gone on holiday before carrying out their raid.
