THE cast of Kelty Musical Association are hard at work rehearsing for their forthcoming show of Jesus Christ Superstar.

They're preparing to perform the smash hit musical at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline next month.

It's been a challenging project for the company as Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s masterpiece is the ultimate rock opera, so there is no dialogue and the chorus are involved in almost every scene.

It is very rare for any company to secure the rights to any of their shows and it is actually the first time ever that the Kelty company have presented a Lloyd Webber show.

The production team of director Gary Gibb, choreographer Lynne Gibb and musical director Ross Hamilton has worked very hard to bring it bang up to date, utilising large video screens and modern-day costumes, so don’t expect flowing biblical robes!

Featuring hit songs like 'I Don’t Know How To Love Him' plus the spectacular title song, this is a show which will appeal to all ages.

Kelty Musical will be promoting the show on Saturday in Dunfermline’s Kingsgate Shopping Centre from noon to 3pm, where you can take advantage of special ticket offers.

Come along, support them, hear some of the songs and buy your tickets for this amazing show.

Jesus Christ Superstar will be in the Carnegie Hall from Wednesday May 2 to Saturday May 5 at 7.15pm nightly, plus a Saturday matinee. Tickets priced £12/£14 are available from the company box office on 01383 413089.
