A KELTY man who failed to complete his community payback order has been sent to jail.

Fasial Iqbal, 22, had previously been sentenced for offences committed in Rosyth two years ago.

However, after failing to complete the unpaid work he is now behind bars.

On May 18, 2015, at Castle Road, Rosyth, he assaulted a police constable by attempting to punch him on the head.

On June 25, 2015, at Torridon Drive, Rosyth, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, throwing household items and threatened to self-harm or kill himself.

Iqbal, of Kelty, had his orders revoked and was jailed for three months for the first offence by Sheriff Charles MacNair.

Sentence was deferred on the second offence until August 9.
