KELTY Hearts are the East Super League Champions after Bonnyrigg Rose lost to Linlithgow Rose in their home match last night.
It means when Hearts play Bonnyrigg at New Central Park on Saturday in the teams' last game of the season they will be presented with the trophy.
The game itself was a tight one but Linlithgow were not there to make up the numbers and grabbed the lead in 24 minutes through Connor Kelly and Bonnyrigg were suddenly facing losing the title race.
However, they threw everything forward to try to get back in the game and lost a second on the break late on through Robbie McNab.
Hearts' total on Saturday could reach 78 with a win over the nearest challengers which is a club record in the top league.
