Policing Kelty across the years
AS a young police constable, stationed in Kelty, Mr David Todd, attended the Lindsay Colliery Disaster in December 1957.
David attended the memorial service on Friday December 16 and met up with one of the Lochs' current community bobbies PC Gary Crystal.
Gary enjoyed having a chat with David who told him about that dramatic day back 59 years ago.
Likewise David enjoyed hearing how the community team works in the village.
