THE big switch-on of Kelty's Christmas lights took place on Wednesday when there was an early Christmas feel about the village.
There was an excellent turn out of people of all ages for the switch-on which was held at the new Kelty Community Centre for the first time.
The little stars of the show were the mini donkeys who were adored by youngsters.
Councillor Alex Campbell was delighted to be able to take part in the evening's festivities and he was impressed with the village's festive lights.
The hard work by the many volunteers continues to see Kelty have a real Christmassy feel about it from late November.
