SHE may have turned 100 but that didn't stop Margaret Ketchion hitting the dancefloor on her birthday.
The special centenary celebration took place at Dunfermline's Leys Park Care Home this week.
One of the home's activity co-ordinators, Maureen Wailes, said: "She was up dancing – although she did have to be helped up – and had a brilliant afternoon," she said. "She got a lot of presents, a telegram from the Queen and a lot of cards."
Residents, staff and family gathered for the 100th birthday of Margaret on Monday.
She marked the occasion with a party at the home which was attended by her son, Jim, as well as her grandson and great grandchildren.
Born and bred in Kelty, Mrs Ketchion lived in the village for most of her life before moving into Leys Park around seven years ago.
