THE OWNER of Crossgates Gas Services received a regional title at the Green Deal and Eco Awards in Edinburgh last week.
Pedro Tang, who was nominated in two categories, won the Scottish award for boiler and renewables installer of the year. Mr Tang was also up for the regional advisor/assessor of the year accolade.
The green gas-man has now been nominated for the national awards in Manchester in June.
Pedro said, “Having won runner-up in this category last year I was delighted to have stepped up to the winning position this year while also helping the folks in Fife be green and save them cash on installing energy-efficient measures.
“I hope to continue bringing green energy to Fifers and we are currently investigating becoming a Green Deal provider which will allow more Fife folk to obtain funding towards Green Deal measures when Eight Green Ltd opens in Dunfermline town centre later this year.”
