CROSSGATES could see three new wind turbines erected at the land near Cuttlehill farm if planning permission is approved for the application submitted earlier this month.
Operators Temporis Wind are asking whether the development requires an environmental impact assessment for three wind turbines near Cuttlehill. Earlier this year, the company withdrew an application for a single 77m turbine at the same site due to considerations about the impacts on the visual landscape, and the new application proposes smaller turbines which are around 46m in height.
