The opening will tale place on Tuesday 5th August at the facility off Main Street.
The training will involve Working at Height Rescue; Fire Awareness; Technician Core Skills; and Advanced Hub Rescue (certificated by the Mines Rescue Service.) The official opening event for the new facility will take place at 2pm on 5th August at the training facility when Fergus Ewing MSP and Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism, will be there to formally open the new facility.
Guests will be able to look inside the base of the turbine and they are free to climb the turbine tower if they have the appropriate HSE certificate.
