THREE young girls are all "over the moon" after being crowned this year's Crossgates Gala Queen and Princesses.
Lana Wilson was drawn randomly to become Gala Queen, with Connie Graham and Ileana Arnott this year's Princesses.
Barry Tillier, chairman of the Gala, said: "Lana had been wanting to be the princess for years, so for her to be the Queen instead is brilliant for her. They were all over the moon. It's a great week for them and they will have all their hair and make-up done by local beauticians and will have lovely dresses to wear."
This year's Gala Day is to take place on Saturday, July 1.
