POLICE have this week been probing a Facebook video which was recorded in Cowdenbeath.
The video is of an apparent incident which occurred in the town, was videod and then put online.
The footage which appeared on the social media outlet showed a teenage girl being assaulted by another girl in the middle of a road with the actions being viewed by a significant number of youngsters.
The video showed the person being assaulted being dragged by the hair and its appearance led to the post going viral.
A complaint about it was made to Police Scotland who were taking appropriate action.
The post caused considerable discussion on social media with many people complaining about what was being portrayed in the vid
