THERE are moves afoot to create a new Hill of Beath Community Council.
The Hill of Beath Community Group’s public meeting last Tuesday night saw a good turn out of villagers to discuss the formation of the Group.
But during the evening some members of the public felt that a community council could give Hill of Beath opportunities to get increased funding for certain items which would benefit the village.
It was felt that the Community Group could work with the community council and bring Hill of Beath into line with the likes of Crossgates and Benarty.
One of those at the meeting, John Park, agreed to examine the possibilities of setting up such a body in the village.
