ROSELEA House, in Cowdenbeath’s Stenhouse Street, held an Open Day which proved a tremendous success.

Residents and staff were joined by over 100 visitors over the course of the day.

The care home, which is owned by Kingdom Homes Ltd, has been specialising in caring for people with dementia related illnesses for over four years now.

Entertainment was provided by several local singers who all gave their time free of charge. Visitors were invited to join in the karaoke - the home certainly had plenty of shake rattle and roll going on all day!

The purpose of the Open Day was to raise funds for a sensory garden which is being created in the grounds of the home and for The Brain Tumour Charity which is supported by Kingdom Homes.

A massive £600 was raised through tombola, raffle and tea and cakes sales which will be split between the two causes.

Yvonne Manson, Manager of Roselea House, would like to thank staff, families of residents and people from the community who contributed to making the day a great success.
