A new high voltage cable is being installed along the High Street, with two-way lights in operation between 7am-6pm. Motorists travelling through Cowdenbeath are being advised that delays could be possible while the work is ongoing and to consider an alternative route.
The cabling work is expected to last for around four weeks and must be completed prior to the resurfacing of the High Street in mid-September as there will be a restriction on the carriageway, so work is being pushed to commence as quickly as possible.
